It was a family affair for the Agganis gang at the premiere of the documentary “Agganis: Golden Greek, Excellence to the End.” The film about Harry Agganis, the high school sports sensation who went on to play for the Boston Red Sox, was produced by his grandnephew, Greg Agganis, and written and narrated by Clark Booth. In addition to family, guests included former Sox player Ted Lepcio, Boston University hockey coach Jack Parker, and Richard Johnson, curator of The Sports Museum. . . . Patriots owner Robert Kraft was among the guests at a private party in New York the other night after a screening of Judd Apatow’s new movie, “This Is 40.” . . . Violent Femmes frontman Gordon Gano closed the Galway House in Jamaica Plain this week, hanging out with Jamaica Plain Music Festival cofounder Shamus Moynihan. . . . Sandra Day O’Connor, the retired United States Supreme Court justice, was in town to help honor John O’Brien, dean of New England Law Boston. The event at the Four Seasons was attended by, among others, US Attorney Carmen Ortiz, Justice Robert Cordy of the Supreme Judicial Court, and former AG Tom Reilly.
