Former White House press secretary Robert Gibbs was among the mucky-mucks at the Anti-Defamation League of New England’s fund-raiser this week. Philanthropist Jonathan Lavine was honored by a crowd that included Congressman Ed Markey, Treasurer Steve Grossman, Celtics co-owners Bob and Esta Epstein and Steve Pagliuca, former Governor Bill Weld, and ADL Regional Director Derrek Shulman. There were video tributes from former President Bill Clinton and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Gibbs read a letter from President Obama.
