Stu Rosner
For Names - 14names - Zolton Mesko with Boston Pops Conductor Keith Lockhart and Patriots teammates. (Stu Rosner)
Vanessa Williams and Patriot Zoltan Mesko were the big stars at “A Company Christmas at the Pops” on Wednesday night. Williams sang classics such as “Little Drummer Boy” and “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas,” while punter Mesko (who played catch with Pops conductor Keith Lockart and a few Patriots) took the podium to conduct the orchestra during the holiday favorite “Sleigh Ride.” The big benefit for the BSO included a narration of “ ’Twas the Night Before Christmas’” by Governor Deval Patrick. Revelers in the audience included first lady Diane Patrick and event cochairs Robert L. Reynolds of Putnam Investments and Robert D. Matthews Jr. of RBS Citizens Financial Group.
