Naomi Foner screens film at Sundance

Naomi Foner , a summer resident of Martha’s Vineyard who happens to be Jake and Maggie Gyllenhaal ’s mom, is getting good reviews at the Sundance Film Festival for her directorial debut, “Very Good Girls,” which stars Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen as best friends determined to lose their virginity before going off to college. A screenwriter whose credits include “Running on Empty,” Foner also wrote “Very Good Girls.”
