Rob Gronkowski goes back to school
Rob Gronkowski (left), Jeff Tarpinian, and friend in Belmont.
He’s been faulted for wild and crazy behavior, but Pats tight end Rob Gronkowski was on his best behavior Friday as he and linebacker Jeff Tarpinian led a pep rally at Mary Lee Burbank Elementary School in Belmont. Next week, Gronk will be reporting (with Rich Eisen) from the red carpet at the Oscars on behalf of the NFL Network. . . . Terrence Roberts , one of the “Little Rock Nine,” spoke at Suffolk Law School this week. Roberts was 15 when he and other African-American students helped desegregate Central High School in Little Rock, Ark., in 1957. . . . Dropkick Murphy Ken Casey, boxer Danny ‘Bhoy’ O’Connor, Bruins alum Bob Sweeney, and NECN anchor Erick Weber hit the ice at the Frog Pond to hype Disney on Ice’s “Rockin’ Ever After,” which is at TD Garden through Feb. 24. . . . Singer Trey Songz and a few dozen friends dined at Shrine at Foxwoods after his show at the MGM Grand.
