Local ‘Argo’ actor watched Oscars win at home

North Andover-bred actor Brandon Tabassi (inset), who plays the soldier who chases Ben Affleck’s plane down the tarmac at the end of “Argo,” tells us that he was home on Sunday to watch the Oscars with his parents. Tabassi tells us that his small but memorable role in the film has led to more auditions out in Los Angeles, but that he still comes home to visit his family every six weeks. Tabassi told the Globe back in the fall, when “Argo” was still new in theaters, “I live, breathe, and eat Massachusetts.” We’re sure Ben loved that.
