New Hampshire’s Seth Meyers attended the lighting of the Empire State Building (right) to promote Cycle for Survival, which raises money for research into rare cancers through Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. The next day, Meyers was on “Saturday Night Live” making fun of letters that have been sent home to Massachusetts parents informing them that their children qualify as obese. Meyers quipped, of the letters, which have apparently angered some parents, “They could have used gentler phrasing than ‘You’re kid’s a wicked porkah.’ ”
