Gloria Steinem addresses crowd at Simmons

Gloria Steinem had an audience of more than 500 for her speech, “The F Word: Feminism Today,” at Simmons College on Friday night, and many of those folks were on Twitter. We noticed that one of Steinem’s most tweeted lines during the night was: “Hate generalizes, love specifies.” Among the crowd at the sold-out event were Helen Drinan, president of Simmons College, and Barbara Lee, head of the Barbara Lee Political Office, who also went to Simmons.
