The opening of Brian Piccini and Chris Coombs’s new restaurant, Boston Chops, brought an eclectic crowd to the South End on Tuesday night. Models dressed as cowboys and zombies wandered around the restaurant as guests such as Channel 5’s Bianca de la Garza, local shoe designer Thom Solo, Bruins legend Bob Sweeney, Abby Lane chef Jason Santos, Davio’s boss Steve DiFillippo, and “Boston’s Finest” personality Jenn Penton enjoyed the scene. (Solo, whose shoes have been worn by Carly Rae Jepsen, provided the footwear for the female models.) Coombs and Piccini also own dbar in Dorchester and Deuxave on Commonwealth Avenue.
