The literacy program for kids known as Raising a Reader MA held its annual Dinner With an Author this week, and notables included Joseph Finder, Hallie Ephron, David Becker, Nina Gallant, Gary Braver, C.C. Chapman, and Mark Duffield. Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David McCullough gave the keynote, and new mom Brittany Lucic, wife of Bruins forward Milan Lucic, was in the audience. . . . Yes, that was actor Adrian Grenier walking around the Northeastern campus. The “Entourage” star was here to speak to students. . . . Long rumored and now confirmed: Celebrity chef Mario Batali is opening a 125-seat restaurant — Babbo Pizzeria and Enoteca — in the Fort Point Channel area. (The address will be 320 Summer St.) We’re told Batali, who owns more than a dozen restuarants in New York, LA, and Las Vegas, is hoping to have the local place open by mid-autumn.
