Kathrine Switzer , the first woman to run the Boston Marathon with a number, supported Team Eye and Ear (repping Massachusetts Eye and Ear) during a Sunday brunch at the hospital. Also there was team coach Fred Treseler. . . . Olympic gold medalist swimmer Summer Sanders prepped for the marathon by hanging with Runner’s World editor David Willey and 1968 Boston Marathon winner Amby Burfoot at a party hosted by Runner’s World at Lucca Back Bay on Saturday night. . . . The Greater Boston Track Club celebrated its 40th birthday — and the 80th birthday of Falmouth Road Race founder Tommy Leonard — with a Friday night party at Dillon’s. Guests included Boston Marathon legends Bill Rodgers and Joan Benoit Samuelson , and this year’s Boston Marathon grand marshals, Bobbi Gibb and Sara Mae Berman .
