‘Office’ party in Scranton over the weekend

Acton native and Marshfield regular Steve Carell was the surprise guest at “The Office” wrap party in Scranton, Pa., over the weekend. Carell, who played Dunder Mifflin boss Michael Scott for years before leaving the NBC show in 2011, joined his former costars, including Newton actor John Krasinski (a.k.a. Jim Halpert) for a visit to the city where ”The Office” takes place. “The Office” has employed a pack of Massachusetts-bred actors and writers over the years including Carell, Krasinski, Mindy Kaling, B.J.
