Sunday night in Las Vegas at the Billboard Music Awards, Jeff Anthony , VP of Iron Mountain’s entertainment services, and Steve Nottingham, senior VP and GM for data backup and recovery, chatted up will.i.am (who performed with Justin Bieber at the awards). What’s Iron Mountain doing hanging out with the music glitterati? As the Globe wrote earlier this week, the company stores the archives of some of the biggest names in the business (one client is EMI Music). And now Iron Mountain is at the forefront of digitizing the collection of cultural artifacts it stores, from Beatles albums to Steven Spielberg movies.
