The Nantucket Dreamland Foundation had A-list support at “Evening With the Stars,” its inaugural Dreamland Gala on Saturday night. Robert De Niro and Michael Douglas headlined the party to help raise money for the nonprofit film and performing arts theater, which opened its doors last summer. The actors took part in a Q&A with Rita Braver of CBS News and showed a trailer for their soon-to-be-released comedy, “Last Vegas,” which follows a bunch of 60-somethings at a Vegas bachelor party. (The movie also stars Morgan Freeman, Kevin Kline, and Martha’s Vineyarder Mary Steenburgen.) Nantucket Dreamland Foundation executive director Melissa Murphy, board president Wendy Schmidt, and gala committee member Army Bernstein were on hand for the sold-out event. Raptor Group’s Jim Pallotta and AOL CEO Tim Armstrong chaired the night, which included dinner and dancing.
