Actress Chloe Grace Moretz was in Chelsea filming the Denzel Washington movie “The Equalizer” last week, which is why she couldn’t make it to San Diego to promote her upcoming movies “Carrie” and “Kick-Ass 2” at Comic-Con International. Moretz did her best to hype the films from afar, tweeting things like, “How excited are you guys in Hall H to see my cast members for #KickAss2?! Wish I could be there guys :)” Moretz did have some fun here in Boston during the weekend. She wound up in the owner’s box at the Red Sox game on Saturday with Boston VIP guy Michael Winter and musician Nick Franger. . . . While Moretz stayed around town, a few local actors did make it to San Diego. Sudbury’s own Chris Evans promoted his “Captain America” sequel with his costar Scarlett Johansson, and Bedford, N.H.’s Seth Meyers debuted his animated series “The Awesomes.”
