Bryan Cranston gets to work in Cambridge
Just a few days after the final season of “Breaking Bad” premiered to about
6 million viewers on AMC, the show’s star, Bryan Cranston, was in Cambridge to begin rehearsals for “All the Way,” the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan that opens at the American Repertory Theater in September. Cranston plays Lyndon B. Johnson in the production, which also features Reed Birney, of “House of Cards,” and “Spinal Tap” hero Michael McKean. Cranston and some of the crew gathered for a first-rehearsal barbecue on Tuesday.
