mtvU, Ed Sheeran, and Robin Thicke thank Emerson students for One Fund contribution

Three Emerson College studentsNick Reynolds, Chris Dobens, and Lane Brenner — are being honored by mtvU for raising almost $900,000 for One Fund Boston. The trio, who raised the money by printing and selling 57,000 “Boston Strong” T-shirts after the Marathon bombings, will be featured on the college-focused MTV network as part of its series “Random Acts,” which has celebs recognizing young people for doing good deeds. The students, who will be featured on Sunday’s episode, were also given tickets to the MTV Video Music Awards, which air live Aug. 25, and received a special video “thank you” featuring stars such as Robin Thicke, 2 Chainz, Ed Sheeran, and Shay Mitchell from “Pretty Little Liars.”
