Jon Hamm had a full weekend of local theater. Apparently, before he checked out the Huntington Theatre Company’s production of “The Jungle Book” on Sunday, he was at Saturday night’s performance of “All the Way” at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge. We’re told that Hamm and his partner, Jennifer Westfeldt, hung out with star Bryan Cranston in his dressing room after the performance. The guys were nominated for Emmys but lost to Jeff Daniels. . . . Sheryl Crow performed for KIX 100.9 in Springfield on Tuesday. She was also seen shopping at Twilight in the North End — not long before a secret show for WKLB listeners in Boston. . . . It was nice to see jazz singer (and Berklee professor) Maggie Scott brought up on stage by Peter Wolf at his show at the Center for Arts in Natick the other night. Scott will celebrate her 85th birthday with a show at Scullers on Oct. 29. . . . Actress Cameron Diaz dined with a few friends at Mare Oyster Bar in the North End the other night. . . . Word is Harvard Law School is planning to pay tribute to professor Alan Dershowitz with a bash Monday. Dersh is retiring after 50 years at the World’s Greatest University.
