Lisa Niemi Swayze, widow of Patrick Swayze, was in Wellesley on Saturday for a book-signing at DePrisco Jewelers. The event, which marked the end of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, featured music and snacks, and copies of Lisa’s memoir “Worth Fighting For: Love, Loss, and Moving Forward,” and the book she wrote with her husband, “The Time of My Life.” Ten percent of book sales went to the Patrick Swayze Pancreas Research Fund. Patrick Swayze died at 57 from pancreatic cancer in 2009.
