At his Sunday night show at the Wilbur Theatre, Bill Cosby opened up with a reference to the New England Patriots coming from behind to win earlier in the day, for the second week in a row, this time over Houston, 34-31.

“What was the spread in the Patriots game?” the Cos said as he took a seat wearing a navy blue UMass sweatshirt.

When someone shouted out “Seven!,” Cosby twisted his head and let out a moan.

“They didn’t cover the spread,” he said. “They didn’t cooooooooover it.”
