Cameron Russell is making a name for herself

Cameron Russell continues to make a name for herself in the fashion world — and beyond. The Cambridge-bred model, who made a splash at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show in 2011 and has done runway work for Chanel and Versace, graces the January cover of Elle UK. Russell, the daughter of Zipcar cofounder Robin Chase, is no slouch in the brains department either. After attending the Commonwealth School in Boston, she went on to Columbia University, graduating with honors in 2012. Her TED talk — in which she counsels young girls not to go into modeling — has more than 2.6 million views. Russell is also the cofounder of Interrupt, an online magazine that encourages readers to contribute and participate in its creation.
