Because she’s set to star in the Broadway revival of “A Raisin in the Sun,” Bronx-born actress Diahann Carroll (inset) is the subject of this month’s back-page interview in Vanity Fair. Even at 78, Carroll, who we’re old enough to remember in the TV series “Julia” and “Dynasty,” displays ample wit, charm, and a little venom. At one point in the Q&A, she’s asked to name the living person she most despises. “Cardinal Law,” she responds. Carroll does not elaborate, but we’re guessing she dislikes Law for his role in the priest sexual abuse scandal.
