There were plenty of local musicians out in Los Angeles for the Grammys and for MusiCares gala, which celebrated Carole King. New Hampshire’s Steven Tyler hung out with James Taylor on the red carpet. And Berklee student Ahmad El Haggar performed with King on the song “Home Again.” The two met when King received an honorary degree at Berklee with Annie Lennox and Willie Nelson last year. MusiCares provides assistance to people in the music world in times of need. It’s run by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, which is in charge of the Grammys.
