Senator Elizabeth Warren paid a brief visit to Perkins School for the Blind Monday to learn about the students and talk to school officials, including library director Kim Charlson and superintendent of education programs Dorinda Rife. She was joined by Congresswoman Katherine Clark and state Senator Will Brownsberger of Belmont. . . . Actor Anthony Rapp, who’s best known for originating the role of Mark Cohen in the Broadway production of “Rent,” answered a few questions and sang a bit with Babson College’s a cappella group The Rocket Pitches during a visit to campus the other day that included a screening of “Rent,” the film based on the hit musical.
