Onetime Bruin Willie O’Ree (second from right) — who was the first black player in the National Hockey League — spoke to kids at the Ulin Rink in Milton over the weekend. The youngsters are participants in SCORE Boston, which provides opportunities for inner-city kids to play hockey. O’Ree, 78, a native of Canada, made his Boston debut in 1958 and played 45 games for the B’s at left wing.
