Retired British rower Mark Hunter (above left), a silver medalist at the 2012 London Olympics and a gold medalist in 2008 at the Beijing Games, was in Brighton on Saturday for the 4th annual “What Works’’ Summit Coaching Conference at Community Rowing Inc. Other VIPs at the event, which focused on coaching techniques, included Dr. Maria Urso, a US Army major and director of clinical research at Hopkinton-based Arteriocyte Medical Systems, and Curtis Jordan (above right), director of high performance at USRowing.
