Director David Cronenberg (inset), known for dark films such as “The Fly,” “Dead Ringers,” “Naked Lunch,” and 2012’s “Cosmopolis,” will be honored with the Filmmaker on the Edge Award at this year’s Provincetown International Film Festival, which runs June 17-23. The cast also includes Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, and John Cusack. Last year’s winner was “Spring Breakers” director Harmony Korin.
