My Thoughts and prayers are with everyone in this tragic time. The taking away of loved ones in any fashion is terrible, but to have them taken away in this fashion is just devastating. My hope is that loved ones still alive can somehow come to terms with their losses.
Sue, Belleville, Ontario, Canada
This has deeply touched the lives of every member of the world population. Everywhere we turn, someone knows an individual who has been effected by this horrible terrorist act. Our hearts go out to each and every family....our thoughts and prayers are with you. You WILL GET THROUGH THIS!!
Jennifer Carey, Santa Rosa, Ca
As I heard all of this, I cried for everyone, for humanity. I am angry, and my heart is broken, and I never want to see this again, but I have no doubt we will see it somewhere else. I love my country, my neighbors, and family. I lost it when I saw the list of the 2 and 4 year olds on those planes. I have a 2 year old, and it makes me sick to think that someone could kill children, and thousands of innocent people.
I hope that one day, we will all come together, and reflect on this horrible crime. I hope that one day, my Daughter will know only peace.
To my husband and my Daughter I love you both more than anything, and I love you too America! You are my family too.
Amanda, Boston
My heart goes out to all who have been effected by this tragedy. I have never been more proud, in my life to be an American citizen. We will rise above this and become an even greater nation than we were before.
Jennifer, Medford
My heart goes out to everyone who has lost someone. It's a very sad time for our contry but we will survive this tragedy in time. It won't be an easy process but if we band together as a nation we will overcome this atrocity. God Bless!
Kevin, Milford
My thoughts and prayers go out all of those mourning the loss of a loved one. I know that through all of this America will stand strong and become more united than ever. I have never felt more loyal towards my country than I do today. STAND UP AMERICA AND BE COUNTED, BE STRONG FOR ONE ANOTHER AND WE WILL GET THROUGH THIS. GOD BLESS AMERICA
Shannon, Salem
I cannot express the pain in my heart for the families of those lost.
I was a crisis volunteer when sr 111 crashed in Halifax in 1998. The
experience changed my life. I found myself unable to be objective
and seperate myself from the agony of the families I was assisting.
It took a long time for healing to begin, and upon arriving home I
did not recognize the world around me. I felt isolated and unable to deal with life as usual. So my heart must also go out to the volunteers in New York, Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania. They are in another world right now that none of us can ever understand.
My prayers are with all of them. Healing will happen, it's a long road but we will arrive at the end of it and carry on. GOD BLESS
AMERICA.
C.S, Braintree
I am just sick for the families of the victims. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We as Americans must stand behind our President in his actions, whatever they may be to stop this from happening again. We must show the evil people who are responsible for this and who support what has been done that they will not go unpunished. Please, everyone remember under any and all circumstances America comes first!!!!!! And we must fight to keep our freedom. God Bless all of America and its people!
Michelle, Billerica
To the airline crews, passengers, WTC employees, Fire Fighters, NY Police force, Pentagon employees that lost their lives on Tuesday; my heart goes out to you, your families and friends. You will always be in my prayers. The WORLD is still in shock but everyone is pulling together like brothers and sisters. This is what AMERICA is all about!!
Dave, Uxbridge
My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families and also to all the wonderful people helping during this time of tragedy. Having lived in NY and visited the city numerous times, makes this whole thing upsetting. Please remember we are Americans and we are strong so wave your flag proudly. While driving home I notice all the flags that are flying outside our homes, this is a very encouraging thing to see. If you do not already have a flag, please buy one and display your pride. God Bless us all and may God punish those who are responsible.
