Ryan Malston, Burlington
In the wake of all that has happened, it is extremely comforting to see so many people willing to help and come to the aid of the victims and their families both in NY and Washington, DC, but also in Pennsylvania.

Due to the restrictions on air space, I've just spent the last 23 hours trying to get home. Now that I'm here, and I'm with my family, I can tell you that it must be on of the most gut-wrenching feelings a person could endure to not have their loved ones at their side.

My thoughts, warmest wishes and deep condolences to the family members who who sit and wait and to the ones that will never make it home...

Lois DiVita, West Palm Beach, FL
I am a former Bostonian and I feel terrible that the planes that so damaged our country came from that area. I send heartfelt feelings to those affected by the loss of loved ones. You are in my heart and prayers.

Lisa, Nahua, NH
My thoughts and prayer go out to all of the innocent victims, their families and friends. My god give you the strength and courage to go on. May God Bless you all...

Charles Maffeo, Canton
To all family members who lost a loved one through the events of the most catastrophic day in history of our country my prayers and the prays of my family are with you all God bless you, and God bless America.

Paula, Braintree, but now Musselburgh, Scotland
My heart goes out to everyone there - I feel helpless, and even guilty for being here "safe" and not there with my friends and family - yet I'm scared to be going back home for a visit next month. I keep thinking this is all too horrid and surreal to be really happening. My grandfather worked at Logan Airport for 20 years before he passed away - thankfully he didn't see all this happen. My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in the States.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Family, friends and co-workers of the lives that were lost. I never imagined that something like this would ever happen, especially in my lifetime. This great country will get throught this and come out even stronger.

Though we have seen the face of evil. Our citizens have not passed in vain, for the collective spirit of the free world will rise with the hand of god and stike down those responsible with a vengeance.

Rosemarie, Everett
Words could never express the sorrow I fell for all the families involved in this senseless tragety. I left work as soon as I heard the news Tuesday morning to be with my two daughters. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Chris H., Cambridge
I'm still in shock and have such a sick feeling. I just want to wake up and have this all be a nightmare. Unfortunately, I know that this is not a dream. It is so hard to imagine the loss of life. My heart goes out to all. Please try to give $$$ and/or blood to the American Red Cross.

Nancy, Pelham, NH
