Statement by Cardinal Maida on Resignation of Boston's Cardinal Law
12/13/02 "I am deeply saddened by all that has happened. Yet, I believe Cardinal Law has taken a brave step to promote healing and bring serenity to the Boston archdiocese. He is a long-time friend, and I will miss his insight and leadership on national and international issues. Cardinal Law and the priests and people of the Church of Boston are in my prayers."
