Statement by Cardinal Edward Egan, Archbishop of the New York Diocese, on Cardinal Law's resignation:

Cardinal Egan has learned from the news media of the resignation of Bernard Cardinal Law as Archbishop of Boston. The Cardinal joins with the faithful of the Archdiocese of New York in praying for the well being of both Cardinal Law and the people of God of the Archdiocese of Boston in this very difficult hour.
