76ers sign Olden Polynice

PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia 76ers signed center Olden Polynice on Monday after he sat out all of last season.

Polynice, a 7-footer who has played for five other teams during his 14-year career, did not re-sign with the Utah Jazz before last season.

The 37-year-old Polynice has averaged 7.8 points and 6.7 rebounds per game in his career. In his last season with the Jazz, he averaged 5.3 points and 4.7 rebounds in 81 games.
