Strong odor shuts down Park Street station

By Associated Press, 03/27/03

(Boston) -- The busy Park Street subway station in downtown Boston is once again open after a strong odor forced a brief closure during the morning rush hour.

MBTA spokesman Joe Pesaturo says three T employees felt light-headed and were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital to be checked out.

It's not yet known what caused the odor.
