WARWICK, R.I. (AP) — The College Planning Center of Rhode Island is expanding its hours to help students and families fill out applications for federal financial aid.

The director of the College Planning Center says the expanded hours at the center’s three locations will help accommodate more families working to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA, and other forms during the busy financial aid season. She says the center gets more requests for appointments each year than it can accommodate.

Students and parents can book appointments online at collegeplanningcenter.org. There are centers in Warwick, Bristol and Cumberland.

The Rhode Island Student Loan Authority provides services at the center free of charge.end of story marker
