Providence school principals reassigned

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Providence Superintendent of Schools Susan Lusi has reassigned eight principals to the city’s lowest performing middle and high schools.

School district spokeswoman Christina O'Reilly says the mid-year shakeup announced Wednesday involved matching the right leaders to the right schools. The principals will move to their new schools on Jan. 29.

Janelle Clarke-Holley will lead DelSesto Middle School. Robert Dimuccio will lead Central High School. Jeffrey Goss will be principal on special assignment at Mount Pleasant High School. Edward Halpin will be principal of Stuart Middle School. John Hunt with be a principal on special assignment for the district.

Michaela Keegan will lead the Sanchez Educational Complex. Dinah Larbi will be principal on special assignment at Roger Williams Middle School. And Jennifer Vorro will be principal of Roger Williams Middle School.end of story marker
