Arrest made in crash death of Vt. student

BRATTLEBORO, Vt. (AP) — A Vermont man has been accused of proving alcohol to minors in connection with a 17-year-old student’s death in a car crash.

Police said 49-year-old Jude Tyler of Dummerston was arrested Friday. They said the arrest was made as a result of an on-going investigation of a crash that killed James Evans on Feb. 5.

Evans was a student at Brattleboro Union High School.

The crash happened near the Brattleboro Country Club.end of story marker
