The Southborough Education Foundation, an organization that provides private funding to enhance educational experiences and opportunities in the local public schools, has announced the recipients of its grants for next school year. Awards totaling more than $42,000 were distributed by the nonprofit group, including $4,200 for a digital camera and substances needed for DNA manipulation experiments by Algonquin Regional High biotechnology students, $3,900 for new musical instruments at Trottier Middle School, and funds to acquire several iPads, Nooks, and computer software programs to assist various schools and courses across town.
