How to get there
The National Yiddish Book Center and the Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art are on the Hampshire College campus in Amherst, about 80 miles west of Boston (roughly a 1-hour drive). From the Massachusetts Turnpike (Interstate 90), take Interstate 91 north to exit 19. Follow Route 9 east to Hadley. Take a right on Route 47 south, and a left onto Bay Road. In 2 miles, go left on Route 116 north. The entrance to Hampshire College is on the left. Follow signs to the Book Center and the Carle Museum.
