NASHUA, N.H.—Scores of students from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell are moving into pretty plush digs this semester.

The school has leased three floors at the Radisson Hotel in neighboring Nashua, N.H., because it doesn't have enough dorm space.

The hotel will be home to 240 undergraduate students, who will have private bathrooms, access to the hotel pool and fitness center and room cleaning every week. Students will occupy about a third of the hotel.

UMass says the number of incoming freshmen and transfers is much higher than normal and more students returned than normal. Some students were moved into apartments near campus.

As for partying, UMass said students still are expected to abide by quiet hours, which start at 9 p.m.
