After putting to bed his band's self-titled debut album in 1994, Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo took up a new venture: undergraduate at Harvard University. Cuomo spread out his classes, enrolling intermittently from 1995 until he graduated in 2006, Phi Beta Kappa, at the seasoned age of 35.
"My social life consists mostly of meals in the cafeteria, which is fun," Cuomo told the Globe in 2006. "I don't go out. I don't go to parties. But I've made a lot of friends right here. I'm really working toward a space where I'm not so self-conscious, where I just walk up to people and introduce myself."
Cuomo takes a study break while at Harvard in 2006.
