HOLDEN, Mass.—A teenage boy facing charges in connection with a fight near Wachusett Regional High School which was posted on the Internet has been expelled.
The 15-year-old freshmen was expelled Tuesday by the school committee. Superintendent of Schools Thomas Pandiscio says he can apply for reinstatement in September 2009.
The boy's lawyer refused comment.
The fight last month involved a group of teenagers who used a pipe to beat two students.
The fight was taped on a cell phone, and police used the video to help identify three teenagers who are facing assault and battery charges.
The teens have not been named by authorities because they are minors.
