In the 15 years since the Big Dig began, the value of downtown properties surrounding the mile-long
Rose Kennedy Memorial Greenway has surged 79 percent, to $2.3 billion — and 11 marquee
properties have more than doubled in value, according to a detailed Globe analysis of 45 properties.
During the same period, properties across Boston increased 41 percent on average. This graphic lists
commercial properties' primary owners (some have partners), their 2003 value, the latest available,
as assessed by the City of Boston, and the change in value since 1988.
