Police question bouncer in St. Guillen slaying
By John R. Ellement, Globe Staff
The New York City bouncer being investigated for the slaying of Mission Hill native Imette St. Guillen is on parole after being released from prison in July 2004, New York officials said today.
Darryl Littlejohn, 41, told parole officers he was working for a mortgage company, but did not tell them he was working as a bouncer at the Falls bar in Manhattan where the 24-year-old was last seen around 4 a.m. on Feb. 25, said Scott Steinhardt, spokesman for the New York State Division of Parole.
St. Guillen's body was found in East New York about 17 hours later in a weed-filled lot in Brooklyn. She had been raped and her face was covered with packing tape, police say.
Steinhardt said parole officers have been told by New York city detectives they are investigating Littlejohn in connection with St. Guillen's death. "He is a suspect,'' said Steinhardt.
