Former Mass. man in custody in Arizona

KINGMAN, Ariz. -- Authorities confirmed today that a former Massachusetts man is charged with second-degree murder in connection with the discovery of a dismembered body in a Whitman storage locker.

Mohave County Sheriff's detectives arrested Oral Wayne Nobles, 71, of Mohave Valley on Saturday, the sheriff's office said. It said a joint investigation with Massachusetts State Police began on Friday after the discovery of the body in a locker he reportedly had rented.

Noble lived in Orange, Mass., until the summer of 2004.
