A 47-year-old Randolph man has been arrested in the 2002 killing of a Quincy custodian after the suspect's DNA was matched to evidence at the scene, Norfolk District Attorney William R. Keating said this morning.

Carlos Seino is to be arraigned on murder charges this afternoon in the death of Daniel DeCosta, who was found with head injuries behind the Crane Public Library in Quincy on Aug. 3, 2002.

Seino's DNA was matched to blood found in DeCosta's left front pants pocket, Keating said.

Seino's DNA sample was put in the state database after his arrest on an unrelated assault and battery charge in summer 2004 in Hingham, the prosecutor said. But the match was not made until March.
