NEW BEDFORD -- A 19-year-old was ordered held without bail this morning on charges he stabbed his high school buddy to death.
A not guilty plea was entered on behalf of John Blomgren, who is accused of killing Thomas Reynolds, 18, a fellow senior at Fairhaven High School, on Saturday night.
A prosecutor said investigators are looking into an argument between the two teens in connection with a breaking and entering earlier that evening. Reynolds threw Blomgren out of his Jeep, Blomgren slashed one of the tires, and the altercation escalated, the prosecutor said.
Fairhaven Police found Blomgren slumped over the wheel of his Jeep about 2 a.m. Sunday and he was pronounced dead at St. Luke's Hospital in New Bedford.
