Entwistle appears in court in slaying case

Neil Entwistle, who is charged with killing his wife and daughter in their Hopkinton home, had a pretrial conference today, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said.

The next court date, an evidentiary hearing, is scheduled for Oct. 5, and the target trial date remains next April, said a statement from the office.

Entwistle, 27, is accused in the highly publicized case of shooting his wife Rachel and their 9-month-old daughter Lillian Rose
