By Mac Daniel, Globe Staff
The ramps to Interstate 93 in South Boston at Congress and B streets have been closed, eliminating what had been one route around the partially collapsed Interstate 90 connector tunnel.
The ramps, which give access to I-93 North and South, are closed for inspection until further notice.
The Massachusetts Turnpike Authority has detoured motorists on to Congress Street, to West Service Road and finally to the South Boston Bypass Road, where there is access I-93 North and South.
Drivers on Interstate 90 still have access to I-93 North and South from the Ted Williams Tunnel.
