Man arrested in Florida in Lowell homicide

A Lawrence man wanted in connection with a July 4 shooting death was arrested today in Miami, the Middlesex District Attorney's office said.

Christopher Middlemiss, 20, is charged with murder in the death of Alberto Cintron, 30, of Lowell. Joseph Morgan, 21, of Lowell had been arrested earlier.

Cintron was shot in his apartment during an apparent robbery. The Middlesex District Attorney's office said that Lowell and State Police worked with the US Marshal's Service and law agencies in Florida to find Middlemiss, who is being held in Dade County jail until a court appearance tomorrow.
