Romney cancels campaign trip
By Lisa Wangsness
Governor Mitt Romney said he will cancel a planned trip to Wisconsin, where he was going to appear at Republican Governors Association gathering Thursday night.
Romney, who is considering a run for president, had resumed his political schedule late last month after putting his trips on hold because of the July 10 Big Dig ceiling collapse.
This morning, he said he would stay in Massachusetts until the security efforts at Logan Airport were running smoothly. An aide later said Romney may leave the state to visit his New Hampshire vacation home, however.
